Cyanotype Workshops That Come to You

Create something beautiful with the people you love—right at your home, Airbnb, office, barn, or favourite gathering spot. I bring the materials and the magic; you bring your favourite humans.

A Creative Afternoon, Delivered

Want a memorable way to spend time with friends or family? I’ll come to your space and lead a hands-on cyanotype printmaking workshop—no studio required. Just sunlight, table space, and a little curiosity. I set everything up, guide the whole experience, and you get to relax and create.

Make Art You’ll Want to Keep

Looking for a creative afternoon that feels equal parts art, science, and a little bit of magic?

Cyanotype is one of the earliest forms of photography, and it still feels enchanting. Using sunlight, water, and simple materials, you’ll create rich blue prints that appear right before your eyes. I like to say it’s part experiment, part art class, and a vehicle for your creativity.

We’ll start by making a test print together so you can see the full process. Then you’ll create your own pieces, arranging botanicals and found objects while I guide you along the way. No experience needed. Some of the strongest prints often come from people who swear they are not creative!

Workshops are held outdoors whenever possible, with a UV light backup if needed. You can forage your own botanicals or use the professional quality materials I provide.

You’ll leave with 2 to 3 finished prints and the kind of satisfaction that makes you want to keep going. Perfect for a creative afternoon with friends or family. Designed for adults, but adaptable for kids too.

You keep the artwork. I take the mess home.

How It Works

Choose Your Date & Space

Pick a date that works for your group and a location with a bit of sunlight and table space—your home, Airbnb, backyard, barn, office, or favourite gathering spot all work beautifully.

I Bring the Studio

I arrive with everything needed for the workshop: paper, chemistry, botanicals, tools, and setup. I’ll turn your space into a temporary cyanotype studio—no prep required on your end.

Create Together

Over 2–3 relaxed hours, I guide your group through the cyanotype process step by step. You’ll experiment with plants, shapes, and light, creating 3–6 unique prints each. No experience needed—just curiosity.

Keep the Art, Lose the Mess

Everyone goes home with finished cyanotype prints to keep and enjoy. I handle all the cleanup, so you can soak up the creative afterglow without lifting a finger.

No experience needed—just curiosity and good company.
